It’s an amazing experience to travel around the world and provide missionary work for those in need. Building schools, improving living conditions, providing fresh drinking water for a community. But to do missionary work you don’t always have to travel that far. Sometimes it’s only a 45 minutes drive to a poor neighborhood, or a food pantry, or a women’s and children shelter.

That is where Missions Local comes in. The Missions Local Ministry aims to provide the means to connect those in need, to those who can help, and to make those connections right in your own neighborhood or city. It’s doesn’t have to be a two week long mission trip, it could be just 2 hours helping out at a local shelter.

Jesus taught us in Matthew 25:40
“And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.”
